The Division for Sustainable Development Goals (DSDG) in the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) provides substantive support and capacity-building for the SDGs and their related thematic issues, including water, energy, climate, oceans, urbanization, transport, science and technology.

In ORKG, there are various Sustainable Development Goals, the user can click on any goal and can see, in which papers, comparisons, reviews and lists they are saved.

SDG:

Same model pop up window is displayed when an edit button is clicked. The user can select the desired goal from list of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In ORKG, the user can add sdgs in various screens i.e Paper, Review, Observatories. and Lists A complete guide to add SDGS into ORKG is mentioned below.

Paper:

Navigate to the View menu on home page and select papers from the dropdown i.e View -> Papers . Navigate to the paper and select the "Edit" button. This action will activate the edit mode. On the right-hand side, you'll find an option to add Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Click on "Edit" and a modal window will pop up. Then, select "Add Goal" and a list of SDGs will be displayed. Choose the relevant ones and click on "Save". Now, the selected SDGs have been successfully integrated into the system.

Review:

Navigate to the View menu on home page and select reviews from the dropdown i.e View -> Reviews . Navigate to the paper and select the "Edit" button. This action will activate the edit mode. On the right-hand side, you’ll find an option to add Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Click on “Edit” and a modal window will pop up. Then, select “Add Goal” and a list of SDGs will be displayed. Choose the relevant ones and click on “Save”. Now, the selected SDGs have been successfully integrated into the system.

Observatories:

Navigate to the View menu on home page and select Observatories from the dropdown i.e View -> Observatories . Click on one of the research organizations as displayed on the the screen below for example "Invasion Biology".

In Invasion Biology Observatory on the right side click the "edit" button and this action will activate the edit mode. Now Click on “Edit data” and a modal window will pop up to update observatory. Then, under Sustainable development goals section click the "edit icon" and select “Add Goal” and a list of SDGs will be displayed. Choose the relevant ones and click on “Save”. Now, the selected SDGs have been successfully integrated into the system.

Lists:

Navigate to the View menu on home page and select lists from the dropdown i.e View -> Lists . Navigate to the paper and select the "Edit" button. This action will activate the edit mode. On the right-hand side, you'll find an option to add Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Click on "Edit Icon" and a modal window will pop up. Then, select "Add Goal" and a list of SDGs will be displayed. Choose the relevant ones and click on "Save". Now, the selected SDGs have been successfully integrated into the system.
