Review of detection of falsified and fabricated AIS data in monitoring of water transport. The conducted researches aims to assess the quality of the recorded AIS data in the monitoring of water transport. In addition to fabricated and falsified AIS messages, research also deals with the case of switching on and off the AIS device, which can initiate the concealment of unwanted events, which is one of the types of maritime anomalies. The aim of these studies is to facilitate the supervision of water transport and to enable protection and safety during navigation.
