In the building domains, it is important to use existing energy sources as efficiently as possible, in other words, maximizing energy output and minimizing the energy cost. As energy efficiency is essential for social, economic, and environmental issues. Several energy-related ontologies are available for describing data of different types of building-related domains hence it is required to present all related ontologies in a commonplace. This comparison is presented to discuss energy-efficient ontologies for buildings and to explore their features, covered by existing ontologies.
