Studies on disassembly problems in a production line show that it is a difficult problem to deal with, mainly concerning the layout of the production line, the type of disassembly, the disassembly time, the optimization objective, the optimization method and the multi-objective processing method. This comparison presents a classification of works in the literature dealing with the disassembly line balancing problem.
